Child Development

Motor Skills

At this stage, children are eager to explore movement and enhance their coordination. We offer various activities that promote gross motor skills, including balancing, climbing, and carrying objects. Recognizing the importance of fine motor skills, we also provide diverse materials to support hand-eye coordination, such as lacing beads, rings on dowels and nesting cups. These experiences are designed to foster their physical development in a fun and engaging way.

Social

Social skills encompass much more than just saying "please" and "thank you." We focus on teaching children the art of collaboration, helping them learn to work together effectively. Through sharing and teamwork, children develop essential skills that will benefit them in all areas of life. Our approach ensures that these important lessons are both engaging and impactful.

Practical Life

We empower children with essential skills to care for their environment and themselves. Through hands-on activities like dressing independently, washing hands, pouring, using clothes pins to dry linen, wash dishes, floral arranging and tidying up, they cultivate a strong sense of confidence and independence. We believe that these experiences foster respect for order and cleanliness, encouraging children to contribute positively to their community. Join us in nurturing the next generation of responsible and self-sufficient individuals.

Language

At this age, language development primarily happens by making connections through daily actions and activities. Our teachers support growth by using narration, engaging in genuine conversations, and reading books. Additionally, real photos or realistic replicas of objects are provided to strengthen these connections, alongside letters and tactile materials.

Sensory

Sensory activities are essential for children's development, helping them refine their senses of sight, touch, sound, smell, and taste. Through these engaging experiences, children learn to recognize similarities and differences, understand, and explore colors and shapes while classifying various objects. These foundational skills lay the groundwork for abstract concepts, including math and geometry, fostering a deeper understanding of the world around them. Embrace the power of sensorial to enhance your child's learning journey.

Culture

The Montessori cultural curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including geography, botany, zoology, science, and history. Through this approach, children are introduced to the fascinating world of plants and animals, while also exploring the rich tapestry of human cultures and their unique characteristics. By investigating cause and effect children begin to understand the relationships within their environment. This nurturing foundation encourages curiosity and observation, laying the groundwork for early cultural exploration.

Arts

At our Montessori program, we provide a variety of materials that encourage your child to express their creativity while enhancing fine motor skills. Art is approached without an end-goal, allowing children to freely explore and unleash their creativity. Much like music; art is a form of expression.

Math

We teach essential concepts such as measurements, sorting, counting, shapes, numbers, comparing, spatial relationships, and patterns. Our hands-on materials engage and make learning these fundamental skills enjoyable and effective. Join us in exploring the world of math through interactive experiences!

Music

Music, much like art, is a vibrant form of self-expression. Engaging in both the creation and appreciation of music allows children to cultivate body awareness and coordination. Furthermore, it significantly enhances their sense of self-building confidence. Through these musical experiences children can truly discover and express who they are. Musical instruments and activities are also provided, chants, circle time songs, recorded music and listen and move activities.
